The work undertaken since 1982 on the site of Insel Hombroich by a collector and an architect is without doubt the closest I have found to my own. Installing sculptural and architectural volumes in a setting; using the existing constructions as a backdrop for a collection which includes both contemporary and archeological pieces.

Great discretion has been used in the integration of new pieces, and the existing environment still takes centre-stage. Ultimately, the art is enhanced by the path one must follow to meet it.
